NJC was established in 2003 in Ashford, Kent by Nick Chaplen, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 29 years of of construction experience.
In 2005, NJC became NJC (UK) Ltd. The company has a wide and varied portfolio covering a whole raft of construction environments.
We pride ourselves on having the provision of cost effective solutions as our core discipline, utilising risk strategies throughout the whole delivery process but particularly during the initial stages in order to get the most from the available budget and yet deliver a balanced design for the benefit and approval of the client.We see Value Management as an import factor and bring this to maximum advantage at an early stage in the design process.
We have been involved in the development of Sustainable Buildings and take an active interest in Green Issues, costs and life cycle costs.
We also take our core disciplines and apply these to Project Management and Employer's Agent roles where communication, planning, risk strategies and an appreciation of costs have greatly benefited our clients.
We are delighted to be a named Consultant on the Kent County Council framework agreement which a number of Local Authorities have adopted.
